Angel Training
Between 6/12/06 and 4/19/07, the grant
leadership and eWriting team participated in over 150 hours of meetings and in ANGEL LMS
training. They also attended meetings to map the implementation of the
new LMS, Angel (project planning, training sessions, WebCT conversion,
Angel configuration, Angel naming conventions, implementation issues,
etc.).
A team of eWriting authors and
programmers was assembled to lead the eWriting conversion from
WebCT-to-ANGEL LMS. They were among the first at the College to
receive Angel training. In that training, the team learned to
design navigation structure in Angel, bring in content pages to
Angel (by Web-linking to the online eWriting Program), export
quizzes from WebCT using Respondus, configure quiz settings for
Angel, and import quizzes into Angel and link them in the content
path. A template for Angel eWriting was developed and presented at
a to the team to create an eWriting course in Angel.
